This makes me CRY over how misunderstood we are. And It shows how people fear things they don't understand.

If Your Child is a Gothic, Reform Through the Lord!

Listed below are some warning signs to indicate if your child may have gone astray from the Lord. Gothic (or goth) is a very obscure and often dangerous culture that young teenagers are prone to participating in.

The gothic culture leads young, susceptible minds into an imagined world of evil, darkness, and violence. [The so called 'Gothic' culture is made up of mostly Artistic people, or people who find beauty in literature and other forms of art.] Please seek immediate attention through counselling, prayer, and parental guidance to rid your child of Satan's temptations if five or more of the following are applicable to your child:


-Frequently wears black clothing. [Ohhh, I hate colour. Does that make me bad?]

-Wears band and/or rock t-shirts. [It's called showing support for your favourite band]

-Wears excessive black eye makeup, lipstick or nailpolish. [And again. So what?]

-Wears any odd, silver jewelry or symbols. Some of these include: reversed crosses, pentagrams, pentacles, ankhs or various other Satanic worshipping symbols. [Pentacle is a Wiccan symbol, and Wicca is NOT satanism. Wicca practices healing and white magick, and does not harm anything.
An Ankh is the EGYPTIAN sign for ETERNAL LIFE.]

-Shows an interest in piercings or tattoos. [And how many people have Religious crosses on them?]

-Listens to gothic or any other anti-social [Maybe because it's GOOD?]
genres of music (Marilyn Manson claims to be the anti-Christ, and publicly speaks against the Lord. Please discard any such albums IMMEDIATELY.) [Woo, nothing to say there, but Marilyn has some guts to stand up to the 'holy people'. Gotta give him points for that.]

-Associates with other people that dress, act or speak eccentrically. [Uhm, sure. So basically they want us to all act and dress the same. What a load of freedom that is.]

-Shows a declining interest in wholesome activities, such as: the Bible, prayer, church or sports. [I would too if I wanted to be MYSELF AND BE ARTISTIC.]

-Shows an increasing interest in death, vampires, magic, the occult, witchcraft or anything else that involves Satan. [Death doesn't involve Satan, It's just when one's life ends. -_-' Honestly people. and Some witchcraft is good.]

-Takes drugs. [Uhm... Millions of teens do drugs. :/]

-Drinks alcohol. [And again... Hey, doesn't the priest drink alcohol? And wears black? And dresses, acts or speaks eccentrically? Omg, he must worship Satan! ]

-Is suicidal and/or depressed. [That would be a mental problem, or maybe it's because of YOU FORCING stuff on your own children! Or maybe something is happening at school. Bullying can cause this too.]

-Cuts, burns or partakes in any other method of self-mutilation. (This is a Satanic ritual that uses pain to detract from the light of God and His love. Please seek immediate attention for this at your local mental health center.) [And again, maybe you are making them miserable.]

-Complains of boredom. [Uhm, ALL children/teens get bored.]

-Sleeps too excessively or too little. [Called Teenagers, get used to it.]

-Is excessively awake during the night. [And? I like the moon and the stars. :/]

-Dislikes sunlight or any other form of light. (This pertains to vampires promoting the idea that His light is of no use.) [Uhm, no, That is because vampires will ROT and TURN TO DUST because of the light. because they cannot stand up to 'The Lord']

-Demands an unusual amount of privacy. [All Teenagers.]

-Spends large amounts of time alone. [No shit, with parents like you, I would want to as well.]

-Requests time alone and quietness. (This is so that your child may speak to evil sprits through meditation.) [Maybe they're doing HOMEWORK, or maybe they are meditating, but chances are they are just trying to relax. :/]

-Insists on spending time with friends while unaccompanied by an adult. [Again. Parents like you? I wouldn't want you around my friends.]

-Disregards authority figures; teachers, priests, nuns and elders are but a few examples of this. [Teenagers are naturally rebellious.]

-Misbehaves at school. [psh.]

-Misbehaves at home. [Gahaa]

-Eats goth-related foods. Count Dracula cereal is an example of this. [It's count CHOCOULA, MORONS. And watch out for FRANKENBERRY CEREAL aswell.]

-Drinks blood or expresses an interest in drinking blood. (Vampires believe this is how to attain Satan. This act is very dangerous and should be stopped immediately.) [Vampires drink blood to LIVE.]

-Watches cable television or any other corrupted media sources. (Ask your local church for proper programs that your child may watch.)[How about no? I learn a lot of cool things from the Discovery channel.]

-Plays videos games that contains violence or are of a role-playing nature. [ .. It's called entertainment. :/ Plus is probably a way to get away from this world.]

-Uses the internet excessively and frequently makes time for the computer. [Uhm, it's called the 21st century. You can find everything online.]

-Makes Satanic symbols and/or violently shakes head to music. [Thats called 'Rock on' and the violent shakes is called head banging.]

-Dances to music in a provocative or sexual manner. [That's called a slut, dear.

-Expresses an interest in sex. [We're teenagers, of COURSE we're going to have SOMEWHAT OF AN INTEREST.]

-Masturbates [I've heard it relieves stress. Maybe the people who wrote this need to do that more often.]

-Is homosexual and/or bisexual. [This cracks me up. 'Lord' made us to love, but we cant love the same sex. What's wrong with you people.]

-Pursues dangerous cult religions. Such include: Satanism, Scientology, Philosophy, Paganism, Wicca, Hinduism and Buddhism. [We learn Philosophy in school. :/
Philosophy is the study of human nature. And don't catholic colleges teach Philosophy?
Wicca - Practices white magic such as healing and good luck spells and advises against hurting anything fo they have a rule. 'Ever mind the rule of three, what goes out, comes back to thee'
Buddhism - Believes in Buddha, Their monks are very peace loving.
Hinduism - India. Also dont believe in violence. :/]

-Wears pins, stickers or anything else that contains these various phrases: "I'm so gothic, I'm dead", "woe is me", "I'm a goth". [...lmfao thats a stupid pin]

-Claims to be a goth. [and again. lmfao.]


If five or more of these apply to your child, please intervene immediately. The gothic culture is dangerous and Satan thrives within it. If any of these problems persist, enlist your child into your local mental health center.
